        In 1979 Frank Casella started F & D Gunsmithing/Machine shop. Then in 2010 with the help of my wife Shannon, aka Miss Hitem, we started manufacturing our first Sure Hit all brass front revolver sights. So BFS Sight Company and Sure Hit Sight Company were born.  And it wasn't long before we not only machined and sold the all brass Sure Hit front revolver sight.       The BFS (Big Front Sight) sight company also produces the Sure Hit sights.  It was started by the parent company F&D Guns & Bluing, Inc. est. 1978, in 2011.  We saw a need for a more visible front sight for faster acquisition and less eye fatigue.  With the input of World Champions and other prominent names in SASS shooting, we were able to create a simple add on sight.  A sight that provides a stark difference to your sight picture.  What started out as a fix for rifles has since expanded into a variety of choices for multiple firearms.  If you are a Cowboy shooter or just looking for more enjoyment out of your classic firearm we are proud to help.
